Follow the Danish Health Authority’s instructions below:
Do you have any symptoms?
- Typical symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, a cough or shortness of breath.
- Symptoms may appear up to 14 days after contact with someone with the virus.
Are you ill?
- Please call your General Practitioner if you are ill and you have been to a country with confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the past 14 days, or if you have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19.
- It is important that you ring first and do not go to the GP surgery where you could infect other people.
Outside surgery opening hours, please call the out-of-hours service or emergency helpline in your region.
At Port of Aalborg, we are aware of our role if infection spreads:
If there is an escalation in the outbreak, we are prepared to initiate a range of measures as set out in the Danish Epidemic Act. According to the Act, we have an active role to limit or prevent spread of infection. Our traffic staff have received instructions on how to collaborate with the Epidemic Commission and have been informed about the tasks we may have to handle to serve the community in such an event. Ships arriving at the port should be aware that, in such cases, we may be required to ask for a report of the state of health on board before we can permit the ship to dock, and we may need to take certain measures.
